The Joint Diploma Scheme is an arrangement that NALP Training has with Universities to offer The Higher Diploma in Procedural Law during the term of the undergraduate LLB programme.
Provided students elect four options during their undergraduate programme (specialy agreed with each University) on graduation they will receive a NALP's Higher Diploma in Paralegal Practice in addition to their LLB law degree.
There is a one off fee to pay by the student which is £220 and this is for membership of NALP for either 4 years (if regsitered in year 1) 3 years (if regsitered in Year 2) etc: PLUS a free registration for one year on the Professional Paralegal Register (PPR)
Current Participating Universities are:
University of Sunderland has run the Higher Diploma programme with NALP since 2005
Anglia Ruskin University has offered the programme since 2010
University of East London has offered the programme since 2011
University of West London has offered the programme since 2011
University of Bedfordshire has offered the programme since 2013
Canterbury Christ Church University will offer the programme from 2016
University of Hertfordshire will offer the Programme from 2016
Pearson College will offer the programme from 2016
